Time will tell if this great pump is really so great
1 of 1 found this helpful I instal reticulation. The benchmark pump brand is Davey. They are usually a very good pump. They are also very expensive and most components are now manufactured in China like this pump. Clients of mine have had this pump installed with a large 'home' reticulation system for over a year now. They have not found fault. I ordered this pump for a client who changed their mind. My Davey pump was getting old and underwhelming in it's performance. I had this pump to spare so I put it in my rental system with a very large garden and watering demands. I've only been running this pump for less than a month but when showing it to a friend, he remarked how quiet it was and was impressed with the pressure out to 10, very wide throw, rotator sprinklers. Time will only tell if this pump has the durability Davey pumps have a good reputation for. For the price of this Giantz pump, for the service and delivery all in one, you could afford to buy 3 to 4 of these pumps in the same time frame of 10 years you might reasonably expect from a Davey and it's pricing and it's power equivalence. I am super impressed with this Giantz pump. The specifications are very good. The Chinese manufacture so many electric motors. The basic technology has been around for many years. It is not expensive technology. If Giantz continue to manufacture good motors and DON'T try to save on costs but DO continue to make arguably very good quality electric motors, then they will become a world wide recognised premium brand. At the price for this pump delivered promptly, you haven't lost much if it only lasts a year or two other than a lesson. I would highly recommend giving this pump a try and, as the time ticks by, I believe you'll be smiling too. Kurtxx
