Less awkward work position and better use of peripherals
For many years I have been trying to use my Carbon Think Pad taking advantage of it’s superb design. However it is limited to wireless network and no connections to allow use of my larger higher resolution monitors. In the past I used special adapters to work around these limitations which were connected to the 2 USB A 3.0 connectors. Having as many as 6 peripherals to these adapters made the collection of hardware very awkward. Now with this docking station I only have 1 connection to the laptop which allows me to reposition it instead of me trying to position myself to do my work.
