Best way to improve a Fender or Squier Bass
2 of 2 found this helpful This is identical to the bridge on the Geddy Lee signature J Bass, only it has FENDER engraved on it and not Geddy's signature. I installed this on a Squier J, dropped right on, set the action and intonation and was good to go. Even playing without being plugged in you can notice a difference in sustain and overall vibration transmitted through the body. Bang for buck it's probably the best way to make any Fender Bass sound better. Love it!

Fits nice, good quality but still got a CEL.
I still got a CEL after fitting this along with my off-road downpipe. Other than that, it seems to be of high quality materials, and with the larger diameter downpipe I am using, I needed the 90-degree fitment in order to have my O2 sensor clear the underside of the car. I was hoping for an easy-out with the CEL but I will probably need a tune to clear it. In the meantime, I will fit a catalytic converter back on the car for road use.
