Unlucky this time

I have bought this brand before but this one arrived with one faulty outlet

Good item for static connections

Whilst the item does 5 gigahertz and 2.4 gigahertz and works as a good repeater it shows as an extension item and you need to sign into it separately therefore is useless for phones tablets and laptops as you need to pick the strongest connection each time. That said it's fine for starting static items like TVs desktop computers which once signed into it get the signal it's offering.

sadly didn't work as suggested. Tried to connect through other adapters and still no joy so maybe a faulty cable.
