5 of 5 found this helpful There is a bread in Japan called Shoku Pan. It is white bread but it's different from normal white bread. It's a bit chewy. Has nice gluten strands. Bounces back when you push on it. Taste buttery. Everything you would hope to enjoy toasted with butter, jam and a cup of hot coffee. Awesome. This bread machine will do it. I had to tweak the recipe, but man, it makes great bread. And easy....
