Best value for the price against the gold standard of the Japanese made Tiger model.
It works very well and retains the heat for many hours from early morning to evening. No need to use any more gas or electricity once it is boiling; place it in the outer pot and close the lid. Nice to come back to a fully cooked stewed meal which retains all of the flavour which would otherwise be partially lost using conventional cooking methods.
The gold standard in this area is the Japanese made "Tiger" model which is about 3-4 times the price of this product. The Tiger is better made and more durable using better gauge steel.
This product works on the same principle and gives good results. It is certainly value for money.

Robust Remote
It performs the same function as the PTX 4 and is more durable being made of steel and is compact. Went through the washing machine and it still works.
