Inexpensive replacement for Dyson remote
It worked out of the box. Just unpacked it and started using it.
No, it's not small and doesn't magnetically fit on the fan like the original (that my dog chewed up). But at less than half the price it's worth missing those features.

Hiking Nirvana
Super fast to focus. Even used it indoors for action shots at a sporting event. But mainly it'll be a great hiking lens. Great reach, yet fairly small and light so I can carry it around all day without noticing.
Higher ISO makes up for f4 without giving up much in quality. Even the indoor actions shots at ISO 10,000 were pretty clean!
Really glad I bought it. Will have to see how much I use the 12-35 f2.8. May sell it and buy an even faster prime!

Best 4/3 zoom yet!
2 of 2 found this helpful I have owned/used the Panasonic 45-200, 45-175, 100-300 and the Olympus 75-300 and this is by far the best zoom yet. The Panasonic 100-300 was fairly sharp, but the 100-400 kicks it up another notch.
The biggest difference is the focusing speed. I was even able to catch some birds in flight with my Olympus E-M5, something the 100-300 couldn't do. Using the focus limiter switch to force it to look beyond 5m helps as well.
The built in tripod adapter is nice, and being able to rotate it to the side when handled is a great feature. I had the E-M5 IS off and it was nice to grab the camera off the tripod and just flick the OIS switch on to grab quick shots of moving targets.
I'm very happy with the results and would highly recommend this lens.
