Great way to get your Strait
Until recently, I didn't realize how many of George Strait's songs I've loved for years. As I researched which albums I wanted to own, I stumbled across his Strait Out of the Box I & II compilations. Combined they are more comprehensive than the various #1 collections, and often priced better (used). As far as I can tell, the songs are all original album versions or single release versions (no live versions). Very happy with that. It has been the easiest (cheapest) way to quickly build a solid library of his work.

Solid place to start
This is my first Roger Miller CD so I can not compare recording quality to any other releases. However given the age of the original recordings, I feel the songs sound very well balanced and clear. Also, the song titles are a good mix of what I knew I wanted and others I hadn’t heard before.
