Very Capable GPS Unit - But No Battery Operation
1 of 1 found this helpful This unit is very user friendly and doesn't take long to figure out even without reading the directions. It's been very accurate so far and is fairly easy to understand. I have only 2 negatives to cite about this unit. The fact that it has no internal battery means that it must be plugged in to use it. It only offers you the "Fastest Route" and the "Shortest Route". I would like to see a "Scenic Route" offered. You can change the settings to keep you off of main highways, but that's a bit cumbersome for when you're just getting in the car and driving. That's not a huge deal, but I do miss the cordless operation.
