Proform 66785 Piston Ring Filer To Assure Proper Piston Ring End-Gap

Works Great

I used this last night and it took me an hour and a half to do 16 rings that had zero gap and had to go to .018" and .020" It takes off about .001" per revolution. You have to sneak up on it because once you grind it away, you cant put it back. Very easy to use, I screwed it down to a block of wood for stability. Would buy one again if I needed it.

Comprehensive and clear report

I recently got a report for a 1986 Capri, the report showed the number of owners but did not report the mileage after the first owner. Seems that NY no longer reports mileage after a certain point because it was even missing on the title. It was interesting to see that Valvoline Instant Oil change reports to carfax. This is a valuable service for anyone buying a car. Thanks Carfax
