Making Melbourne's Monuments: The Sculpture of Paul Montford Catherine Moriarty

Fantastic

I have just started reading the book and I was amazed that I was not aware of who the sculptor was of the many beautiful statues we have around Victoria. The reason I got this book in the first place was I found a beautiful sculpture when I visited mildura. William Chaffey he did so much to create mildura with starting irrigation. Paul Montfort sculptured his statue and that started me investigate further. The history of this man William Chaffey is fascinating what one man can achieve with very little capital. Paul Montfort also has amazing story to tell. I recommend the book highly.
