Works well

I will have a far bit to cut yet so I can only hope it will last, or if the seller can supply spare parts for a low cost if something fails.
Chain tensioning can be a bit tricky when I tighten the single nut that holds the bar, the chain can get tighter than the setting with the tensioner screw.
Power is good, being a bit heavy is not a bad thing because the inertia stops it from jumping around, when you start the cut.
I like the way the hook behind the bar catches the branch after the cut, so you can lower it safely down.
When I first started to use it I felt rather clumsy but as with everything, practise make a master.
Start lower branches first and get a feel for the thing and learn to make v-cuts so you can avoid wedging the bar when the branch is obstructed from other branches or nearby trees and can't break free.
Make a rubber strap to keep that helmet on your head when you have to look right up to get to the higher branches.

Only 2 months battery life
I bought these to replace a movement that uses a new alkaline battery every two months.
It had a 0.7-0.8mA power drain that gets 1500h or roughly 2 months out of a 1000mAh alkaline battery.
The 2 new ones I bought here both have exactly the same high power drain up to 0.8mA.
Pointless!
A clock battery should last at least one year!
