As expected to be
The quality is good. The light-switch works as intended and it is made of hard plastic. The movements capabilities are not that wide, hands move more that feet. It can be seated and arms wide.

Tamron 90mm f2.8 1:1 SP Macro
There're are a few options available when we're talking about true macro lens (1:1). But let's make a pro/ cons on this one: +Pros+ * Great Image Quality (tack sharp, and excellent colour rendition) * 90mm seems a fair macro distance to work for and it can also be used in another types of photography (f2.8 at 90mm seems very portrait friendly) * Truly wonderful and creamy bokeh * Quick AF/ MF system (push-pull the ring and you're there) * Manual Focus Ring (smooth, good control) * Focus limit system (FULL/ LIMIT) [it can lock down the first half focus distance, or lock down the second half focus distance] --- I mean, you can use it only with closer macro distances, and the other way around, so you can get faster focus when you're using as a portrait lens as an example. -Cons- - Fair Overall Built Quality - I mean, it could be better built, more rock solid feel, rather than plastic feel - Lack of IS (great when you're not using the lens for macro shots) Simple conclusion, if you're looking for a macro lens, Tamron 90mm is a great choice.
