cheap upgrade
5 of 5 found this helpful I have an old, slow Acer Emachines E525 notebook. I wanted to upgrade, so I compared a lot of cpu (performance + price) and in the 800Mhz FSB category THIS CPU is the winner! 2X2.5Ghz, 6M cache can serve for a while. I'm preferring Linux, but Windows 10 run smoothly too. The notebook is even colder than it was before! Absolutely worth the money. If you have an old but working notebook and 800Mhz FSB is a limitation for you, this cpu is highly recommended!
