Brilliant, to the point and exhaustive in detail
An aged but classic rendition of the warfare of World War 2 with testimony from people on the ground involved in every aspect of the conflict. It is remarkably exhaustive in its detail and suitable for the education of high school history classes. I first saw this as a school boy 40 years ago and the ensuing years have done nothing to lessen its power. An object reflection into the cost and futility of war.
