Well crafted, succinct stories by famous and unknown authors.
I ordered this book for my much older (84-yr.-old) half sister, a former grade-school teacher who is now living in a memory care facility. I am hoping each day's entry, a single page of 1 - 5 paragraphs, will be interesting to her. A few of the entries contain only a single quote, with room for comments, which she will ignore. I read a few excerpts, all of which were complete stories with a clearly defined beginning, middle, and end. None had a religious bent, which I (as an agnostic) appreciated. I believe this book, while not providing daily prescriptions, will be uplifting to all humans - married or single, with or without children - particularly those over 40 years' old. PS - Did you ever read "Running with Scissors"?
White Goose Down Alternative Comforter Ultra Plush, Box Stitched Queen 88" x 90"
11 December 2016
OK, but not plush (no puffiness)
This comforter is okay, but it is not puffy. It was made by placing a single sheet of some sort of fiberfill between 2 polyester outer layers. Therefore, the "boxes" are not fluffy...they lie flat and are of uniform thickness. The "box" stitching ends 2 inches from the comforter's outer edges. The outer stitching wanders somewhat irregularly around the edges. There are several instances where the stitching is not locked with backstitching, which will result in that stitching gradually becoming undone. For $30, this comforter is acceptable, but I would not have given it a second glance in a store.

100 More Paper Planes to Fold & Fly by Andy Tudor Book The Fast Free Shipping
15 January 2019
Pretty but poor flyers
Designs are imaginative, bright, and beautiful, but it is impossible to make the many overlapping folds. Instead of crisp, pointed tips, you end up with thick, indistinct blobs. There are 4 designs, but the various plane's dotted lines don't always match the instructions. Also, the pictured instructions are sometimes incorrect. None of the 4 airplanes flew well. They did some crazy uplifting and dipping but, overall, flights were short, erratic, and disappointing for the 4-yr-old, 6-yr-old, and adult pilots.
