A better version of Master and Commander
1 of 1 found this helpful I really like this movie in its entirety. However, I had no idea what I was missing until I purchased this movie on Blu-ray. I have a pretty good home theater system and there are much more impressive sounding systems by far. But I have an a 9. 8 , with about 7400 watts of continuous bass output and I still had no idea what I was missing. Not just bass output , but overall sound quality is greatly improved from all of the speakers. If you really like this movie , it is definitely worth buying on Blu-ray! Russell Crowe never gives a bad performance.
