The Onkyo TX-NR747 is a solid performer
Bit hard to rate the unit I originally bought. I selected this make and model due to good reports on the internet. Unfortunately the factory refurbished unit arrived with a fault which rendered the unit not fit for purpose. The faulty unit has been returned and after a questionable delay another I am told is, on its way.
While I had the original unit it performed way better than my current 9 year old receiver and although many people believe some old amplifiers are worth their weight in gold and should be kept, with surround sound systems this is never the case. I felt it was time to update and the Onkyo TX-NR747 is a seriously good receiver with practically all the modern features you could want. The price from Ambertech was too good to pass up.
So, when I get fully working unit and set it up (again!) I am sure it will be exactly what I needed for that full in-home theatre experience. IE The kids will love it.

Rolls Royce quality
From the ABS plastic base to the wavy metal resistor thingy and the Phillips head screws this diminutive shunt resistor has it all. Sleek lines and dark smouldering looks belies its true purpose.
Even a quick glance lets you know you are in the presence of quality. A closer inspection lends one to believe this is possibly an item of such rare and unqualified beauty that it is very possibly the epitome of human endeavour.
I can't just recommend this device, I could marry it, such is its attraction. Do you dare buy one?

Well worth the keen price and does what I want perfectly. ;-)

You can buy either a cordless (battery) pruner, a 2 stroke motorised pruner or a 240v electric pruner.
It's up to you and your job locations I guess. I dismissed battery as when it runs flat, you stop working until you can recharge the battery. I thought about motorised but I'm over cheap hard/impossible to start 2-stroke petrol engines. I am only working on my property and can always reach a power point to power the pruner so it was an easy choice. Also if I really wanted to use this pruner further away I could hook it up to my little genny. I saw a bloke on Youtube extend his pruner by adding lengths of PVC pipe to the pruner and just run two wires up to the. Not a bad idea but hard to work with. I could do that as the motor is up at the chain/head. You couldn't do that with a motorised pruner as their is a spinning shaft all the way up in the middle of the pole so I can't see a way to extend those types. When fully extended these are difficult to handle but no need to push the blade through the wood, the chain cutter pulls itself through the wood. Get some googles first up as wood floats down and into your eyes if not covered. In summary, these work well and I do not regret buying this item.
