Simple and compact battery tester
This is a lightweight battery tester that comes handy when one is hesitant about whether recently bought batteries surprisingly seems to be empty or the problem is elsewhere. It is very light, compact, fits easily in a pocket in compact bags for photo gear, including photo and speed light bags, small travel bags and backpacks. The product works well, the sliding arm may move harder initially, but this fades after few battery tests.

2. The battery handled significant loads and sustained current at its upper limit and even slightly above for long periods of time.

Product that does the job
The front cap does the job. It protects the lens and seems to function well in terms of taking off and placing it on the lens.
