Vintage tubes: It's a thing...
These vintage Tele's sound great and last long. These we're made in 1958 and still strong.
New copies just don't compare, Really! No Idea why. Be sure & check out "yesisbest" my seller in Colorado, he's got the goods.

2 of 2 found this helpful I knew I had to have a mini-split for this summer: Heat wave coming, and the Box AC we've been using the last few years cools, but makes too much noise for a bedroom. I pulled the trigger on this one because of the best price on eBay, and the 900+ positive reviews. Well, any concerns or reservations were quickly assuaged when our tech fired it up for the first time on Turbo (High). Quiet. Very quiet, and ice cold air. We could turn our bedroom into a meat locker, cold. On a 90 degree day, thats what you need.
If you're not handy, and used to boring holes in your walls, better hire someone who is, but it really isn't a bad job getting it set. Just plan. Measure twice. You will need an HVAC fellow to charge it up/hook it up.
Don't try this yourself: You don't have the expensive tools, or the know how. Trust me, you don't. This kit has the pipes ready to go so your tech can leave the copper expanding tools in the truck. He will need the digital torque wrench, Vac-pump, gauges, etc.
The results will AH-maze you if you haven't experienced this type of AC before.

As it was meant to be...
1 of 1 found this helpful I received my 1963 strat without all it's original parts. Great guitar, but the custom shop Texas Special pickups just weren't doing it for me. Bought these on a super deal from "Crazy" Dave, and I'm glad I did. Now the instrument sounds like a Stratocaster should, What people don't seem to understand is that Leo got this right the first time. One cautionary note: Back in '63 Fenders were shipped with wound 3rd string sets. The pickups were designed for that specifically. So expect to hear your plain 3rd string a bit hotter than the rest. Want perfection? Play Piano.
