Solid and cheap de-facto self-wired 12V CD connectors
I've bought several lots of these, direct from China and also from the UK. They all come from the same factory and are identical. There are cheaper DC connection solutions available, specifically the pigtails. These are good if you are building a project which needs no tinkering and you don't like soldering.
These however are ideal for projects still in progress where you will be tinkering with different layouts and cable runs. They are also good if you change your mind and want to double wire two devices quickly.
As with everything China-made, they can be had for pennies when ordering direct if you don't mind a two week wait. The UK prices now seem to make sense to order from home at roughly double the imported price.
Build quality is good though the plastic body is of the soft 'Chinese' variety if you know what I mean. This means polarity markings can be worn down quite quickly but the screw down section is tougher, which is the bit that matters.

The Cheapest Power Bank ever but not the worst
These were so cheap I bundled 6 together with 99p USB LED torches and made a rechargeable monster torch. The design is getting a little old now and out of 9 I've had, one has partially failed in two years which is not a bad rate.

Does the job at the right price

This worked fine for the job at hand and there's definitely far too much for me to ever be able to use but I'd advise to buy one of these because when you suddenly need it, it will be worth its weight in gold.
