Audiophile preferred version

I've had both the Echo Plus gen 1 and the gen 2, and I can say the gen 1 sounds the best. The difference is probably only noticeable if you have well tuned ears but it's darned important if you are going to be listening to it for hours on end, that you not get fatigued by the sound.
