Great game but not for the kids....
Take one part Silent Hill add in a touch of Chronicles of Riddick throw in a pinch of Breakdown and top it all off with a little bit of C.S.I and you get Condemned: Criminal Origins. You are an FBI detective hunting down a brutal serial killer in the city. The environments are dark, disturbing and extremely realistic looking and make me glad I own an Xbox 360. These graphics are some of the best I've seen on the system, although when they show extreme close ups of the characters you can see some flaws. Why do they do that? Anyway, everything else is really amazing looking. The sound is well done too with creepy music and things going bump in the night and it helps keep you on the edge of your seat. You will hear something or someone moving around in your area and you know it's just a matter of time before you find out what it is. The environments are interactive and you can pull a pipe off the wall, a board from a pallet or even a locker door off it's hinges to beat your enemies senseless with, but this could have been done even better because many times you will see a different pipe leaning against a wall or another locker door but you can't use them. Also there are too many locked doors that can never be opened , it's a minor issue but maybe the next game in this series will be even more interactive. The hand to hand or should I say pipe to face combat in the game is quite visceral and done really well and is even a little better than it was in Riddick (which was pretty darn good). You also have a Tazer and it is key to your survival. I just love shocking my victims before I lay the smack down on them. There's also numerous firearms but they rarely have more than 5 bullets in them, this adds to the desperation you feel and brings more depth to the decisions you have to make in the game. You also use a phone to keep in touch with the lab and forensic tools for gathering evidence. It's a nice touch. It even has an interesting story. I highly recommend Condemned.

Fun .
Even though this is a pretty old game and I play alot of the newest games available on the market, I still have a lot of fun playing Stronghold Crusader to this day. Graphicly it still looks nice and runs smoothly. The sound is done well and the gameplay is really good with alot of items and upgrades available to create whatever kind of castle you want. You are a Lord and you start off with a little cash and a couple peasents. By gathering different resourses with your workers you begin to amass stockpiles that you use to equip/feed/build your town , you can also sell your goods for gold and you can hire mercenaries or buy gear to make your own troops. There is so many options that you will not get bored. There's lots of Buildings, Industries and Town additions you can choose to really make an impressive looking castle. Also micro managing the economy is important, so setting taxes low and keeping the residents happy with beer and food plus improving thier surroundings all pays off by creating a powerfull community to crush your foes. If you are looking for a well made RTS this one is great. Oh yeah, Lauching dead cows never gets old.

Still one of the best racing games on my 360
DIRT is great. I love the different driving veiws available, you rly feel like your in the car and it gets pretty intense. The game is very immersive which is what rly makes it so much fun. The graphics look very good with detailed tracks, nice car models and good lighting ( although some tracks the lighting is too bright and you can't adjust it. ) also the car models will show damage through out the race and the car even gets dirty over time on the car which is always nice to see. The car handeling is great and can be adjusted to your liking, I wish it had a feature that let me hire a mechanic to tweek my car for me. But on my own I was able to make a few adjustments that improved my previuos times. You will need to repair any damage you cause as you bump, jump and wind your way through the well designed tracks, but the game should have made it so in addition to tweeking settings and repairing damage you could also upgarde the car with your winnings through out the game with more customization like forza 2. The carrer is long but for me it seemed like it could have "flowed" better rather that just one race after another. The online play only lets you go up agaist others time but it is still fun and actually allows you to concentrate on the track more instead of if some guy is going to brake short or run you right off the road. But racing with other ppl on the track has its place too and you won't get that online in DIRT. The online is fun but this is another area the game could be better. Overall I recommend DIRT, it does alot of things rly well like the solid graphics, physics of the car while driving or crashing, and the intense and immersive camera veiws make this one of my favorite racing games. But with room to improve the career, online and car modding which were all quite bland. I give it a solid 8.0
