Not for use with titanium scales
0 of 1 found this helpful I used this on titanium scales by flytanium. I needed almost 300 lbs of force to crush the scales over the tube. I gave up and drilled out the scales before I bent them. Most aftermarket tubes drop in. This was a nightmare to fit.
The scale screws I ordered protrude past the scales and will lose the anodizing very fast from rubbing. I am nervous to carry this knife as those screws will likely turn silver.
In the end it worked out after grinding the scale holes larger but now I must keep this tube in it forever as the scale holes are oversized.
