Makita DT172 from Japan

This is my first purchase of a power tool from Japan, I have to say it’s been a good experience, but also different. The tool itself is excellent and every thing I was expecting and very light and powerful. Only concern is the possibility of tearing the heads of the screws on high setting but all the same very pleased m. Strange it comes with no makita packaging but is genuine by the serial number etc. very happy overall.

Brushless is Impressive upgrade

So much more power than the brushed model, when fitted with the right blade. A pleasure to work with, especially when you’re ripping along a board with no clamps as it just cuts through.. just impressive..
