These headphones are another example of Senheisser quality.
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased these headphones as I was sick of the creaking noise from my older TDK units. I wanted to have very good audio as I'm slowly losing my hearing and I wanted to be sure it was me and not the music that was waning. I knew Senheisser made good products, but I still researched deeply before I laid down my hard earned. I wanted good response across all the frequencies without adding tone or color. They had to sit well on my big head as well as be comfortable for long periods of listening. These have met all my criteria as well as being sensitive enough to use with my mobile devices. I have a musical background so I wanted to spend properly for the right sound. I believe these have met all my needs including ease of carrying in my satchel as they can fold up partially. When on my head they are a little difficult to adjust without both hands but this is a VERY MINOR quibble. I think I would have liked to have a straight long cable than a curled one as I'm used to earlier Senheisser units with that type. I do like the ability to use both small and large pins to connect to my different home units. The reduction of outside noise is a bonus when listening to certain jazz pieces in the busy periods in my house hold. Their weight was a little surprising but I suspect that is because of the solid construction needed for clarity of strong bass frequencies you can get with acoustic bases. As they cover my entire ears they seem to get a little warm over long periods but I really suspect that is just MY body getting slightly older! I would agree with many of the industry reviews that these are a robust and professional sounding pair of phones as I have worked in television and video production for years with high end units and these would play well in most of those situations. The price was good for this quality of headphones compared to what you see to get many years ago. The placement of the audio in the spectral field seems about right. I can hear the placement of instruments in a quartet quite well when the engineers have manipulated those elements for effect. These are quite a good pair of headphones for listening to at night as they don't fall off your head when laying down.

Easy to use!
Apple products just seem to work well together. And the design is very simple to use.

Smooth and almost silent.
A smooth rolling set of wheels for my new kitchen stool. I’m so glad these are smooth.
