Great memory upgrade option for vintage videocards.
Matches memory chip type on WinBond ISA videocard. Works perfectly. 4 chips give you an extra 1MB of video memory on top of base 1MB, allowing for higher resolution and better color depth.

The board has it all. Loved it ever since I bought one originally in 1999. Rock-solid design. Support for ISA, PCI, AGP. 3 SCSI types in addition to IDE. Dual CPU slots that work all the way up to P3-800 unmodified, and up to P3-1GHz with custom BIOS and a botch wire. Will handle anything from pure Dos to Windows XP in dual-CPU configuration. RAM - up to 1GB. The board will work with Socket-370 to Slot-1 adapters and Coppermine CPU's. The only feature that this board, unfortunately, lacks is the ability to boot off the USB. Other than that, cannot recommend a better system. AGP works with every videocard I tested it with, Matrox, Nvidia, ATI, 3DFX. CPU's will run loud, even if you're using a single CPU OS. Active thermal management wasn't standard back when the board was made.

Lots of power, small form factor, proprietary design, limited longevity
Original PSU lasted 6 years. Small form factor and high wattage is a recipe for eventual failure. Proprietary design means you can only get a Dell variation. High internal complexity and lack of a service manual makes these are difficult to service. In my opinion, a replacement is a better option than having to spend hours following traces with an oscilloscope. I'd suggest getting a refurbished version as oppose to a used one that never failed, because there the defective component has already been swapped, potentially extending life by another 6 years. Otherwise you won't know how much time's left on the clock.
