It works great - I have no complaint with it so far.
It's a great motherboard, and I'm using it right now, in my Dell laptop. I just did some online homework for college with it, by logging onto BlackBoard, which some of you a probably familiar with.

Olympus VN-240 Digital Voice Recorder
For a voice recorder, this on will do the job. It has no tape problems, because it uses no tape. It's all digital. I used it to record my last live music performance, in Hollywood. Granted, it's not what I'd call studio quality, but it's better than the tradition voice tape recorder. It's got voice activation, and it's got three quality modes. I used the highest quality recording mode for my stage show, and the result sounds reasonable, even better than I expected, really, but it's monaural only, not stereo.
