Another grfeat ERTL precision model.
Great replication of the John Deere model R that I grew up driving.

Finally. An ERTL JD Model A with fenders
I collect JD replicas. I grew up on a farm and the first JD A that my dad bought in 1950 was a narrow front Model A and it had fenders. All of our neighbors JD model A tractors were narrow front-end tractors and had fenders. To date ERTL Precision JD A 1/16th scale model tractors still have no fenders. So when I saw this, even though wide front JD A tractors were a rarity, I jumped on it. Great ERTL model. Even though it isn't an ERTL Precision model it is extremely well detailed. Includes lights, all the control levers, authentic steering mechanism, and decals. The only thing that keeps it from being a Precision model is the lack of a swinging drawbar and the wheel centers are depicted as a welded rim to wheel instead of the lug and wedge that Deere actually used to connect the cast iron wheel centers to the rims. Although nearly all John Deere dealers ordered the late model Styled A with fenders, there were none with wide fronts that I remember in my neighborhood. So I think that this is good model to own if you are a collector who likes older ERTL JD two-cylinder tractors.

Great value on a nice sized stack of microfiber cleaning cloths. Nice size. not huge and not to small.
