PAC SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Interface for Radios w/ Wired Remote Control
06 March 2016
Works like a charm and was able to install it myself.
This steering wheel control interface works great and I was able to install it myself, even though my audio head unit is not among those supported by the manufacturer. The PAC SWI-RC will only work with the JVC KW-AV70 head unit on a 2006 Chrysler 300C (Australian version) if the following settings are used: 1) Connect with a PAC Chrysler radio replacement module 2) Set the SWI-RC radio setting to 7 (others) 3) Program it to version 2 and manually program each steering wheel function 4) Connect the steering remote 3.5mm jack to the head unit chassis. 5) On the JVC KW-AV70 head unit, select settings, system 5) and steering wheel control setup 6) Press each of the buttons and assign each of their functions Note: The JVC KW-AV70 head unit does not recognise the signal when the JVC setting (2) is used on the SWI-RC module.
