Newer than I thought
6 of 6 found this helpful The Nikon D90 was introduced around 2009-2010 or so. This camera body coupled with the Nikon 18-200 f3.5-5.6 VR lens is the ultimate travel setup. The photos coming out of this pairing are exquisite; it is very difficult to get bad photos out of it.
I was shocked to find that there are still brand-new D90 bodies out there. The D90 body I purchased brand new in 2010 just gave up the ghost; it got water logged last year in Hawaii and has been going down hill ever since. I didn’t have $1000 to spend on the newest equivalent Nikon offering (D7500) and didn’t feel like learning how to use another new camera. This brand new D90 was a god-send. I figured since it was sitting at a store for the last 10 years, there would be at least some scratches on it - but nope, Brand-spankin’ new with 0 clicks on the shutter.

Some of the best tuning machines available!
This set of Hipshot LIC tuning machines is fantastic. All rotating components are tight (meaning no slop) and turn super smoothly. The dimensions and design are very slightly different than the USA models, but if you can make them work, they can’t be beat. They may be but a couple grams heavier than their USA counterparts, and the gears are non-reversible, but I really don’t care about those details so much as I do function and reliability. I also have a set of In-Line-5 3/8” Y tuners on another bass, and they are awesome as well.

Good high beams!
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought the Middle-of-the-road LA Series bulbs for the High Beams of my 2014 Grand Cherokee, because they are probably used 2% of the time.
They shine bright and work well, I’m just not too crazy about the 2-piece design. The bulb itself has 2 o-rings at the bottom of the LED bank, and it simply slips into the lock-in collar. Once you lock the collar into the headlamp, the bulb can be rotated in the collar, or even easily pulled out. The bulb is not locked into the collar.
However, during normal vehicle operation, the bulb stays put, doesn’t move or rotate on its own, so it kind of isn’t a big deal. I just wish they were more securely locked in place.
