NEW Ned Kelly By Monty Wedd Hardcover Free Shipping
10 December 2019
Cannot get past "Ned Kelly".
I enjoyed Monty Wedd's Australian bushranging comics many years ago. Lately I was able to purchase a Captain Justice comic (1950s) by Wedd for $20. The author has battled against the invasion of American comics. The Ned Kelly book was a joy to read. As an historian I have always been impressed by Monty Wedd's accuracy in the depiction of the clothing of the era, the uniforms and firearms. The story lines are also accurate.and the art work first class. Overall, worth the money and treasures to keep. . Thoroughly recommended for purchase.. Dr. John Morris.

Quite lightweight but good background scenes.
The stories are somewhat different to those I remember in my younger days but they are nevertheless entertaining.
NEW Bold Ben Hall By Monty Wedd Hardcover Free Shipping

Excellent title.
Being an historian I am impressed by Monty Wedd's accuracy in respect of story, clothing, firearms, uniforms, etc. My one regret is that Mr. Wedd chose to end the story in 1863 and then in a few large illustrations show the way in which Hall was shot in 1865. There must have been some compelling reason for this.
