Works like the old, hardwired doorbell and also lets us know when human motion is detected.
Due to issues with our internet provider sometimes we were not receiving notifications when the doorbell was pushed. This chime is not impacted by internet problems as it relies on my local wifi network, so we are not missing anyone pushing the doorbell and are being notified when motion is detected.

A best value tablet
I purchased 2 of these for my tween Grandchildren. The size is just perfect. They are very solid devices. My grandchildren found them to be intuitive. They love them and I was able to get 2 of them for the price of 1 Ipad. They have found no shortage of applications. I added a 16gb SD card so they also have hours of video to watch. They don't want to go anywhere without them and now we can skype with them.
