Good on three levels
4 of 6 found this helpful I like the album on three levels.
1. Great melodies, and interesting harmonies. Love it when they get off and wail to the point you can feel their emotions. Catchy phrasing and a good variety of tempos and story lines to the songs. "Steppin' Out" is my favorite.
2. Generally I'm not a country music fan, but this opens a whole new area for me into that wonderful down-home feeling. Not your typical country music about momma and trains and drinking. Just clear messages, honest feelings in the songs.
3. Love it that the lead singer is so clear on her opposition to Bush and his fascist policies. She tells it like it is, and this has enraged the Dukes-of-Hazard mentality of the toothless Texan pro-war mentality. Her song "Not Ready to make nice" is a reaction to the death threats she received by speaking out about the illegal war in Iraq. You go girl!

Good-hearted effort
The first song on the album, the prayer of St. Francis set to music, is really wonderful, and I've heard it played at particularly sacred moments in my church, and the mood was just fantastic. That first song is artfully arranged and beautifully sung. The rest of the songs on the album are good, but do not seem to have the emotional, spiritual impact of the first one. The songs are nice, but Twyman could enhance the sound by more backup from the support singers, or a more full set of musical intruments. I was very pleased with the price of the album.

Minor irritations but ultimately fully satisfied.
NICE! Love the quick set-up; except for the scanner. You have to jump through hoops to get that working.
Download utilities program and go through the menus. Should be plug and play, no?
The copier and printer worked right out of the box. Quick, easy, quiet.
Didn't like the idea that you need to buy a fully loaded ink cartridge. You would expect that.
No, the cartridge that comes with the unit has only enough ink for a few pages.
A few minor hurdles, but otherwise thoroughly satisfied.
