The new isn't always better than the old.
For years I've owned and used a Remington R5 Diamond Series shaver, which served me well. It was always smooth. never pulling at my bristles and got the job done really quickly. Alas the Trimmer broke and now the battery stopped holding its charge for more than one shave. So I decided to upgrade and chose the Remington XR1470 to replace in the belief that it'll be even better for me. Unfortunately it didn't prove better than my R5! It pulled at my bristles and left areas practically unshaven no matter which way I moved the shaver over my face, be it at slow or fast speed. I perseverd some more, but it left my face sore and made me wince far to often. I reverted to my ailing R5 until I can find a real man's electric shaver that is good value for money and does what it says on the tin! I'm very disappointed as I expected much much better. So much so that I packed the shaver up ready to contact Remington and see what they have to say. I just can't be bothered though, so I'll keep it until one of my young nephews has enough soft fluff for this Shaver to work on...

Walk in Greenhouse
Good design, but rather flimsy, so I secured the Cover to the frame with 3m tape. Instructions and drawings are iffy so it took longer than I expected. Once the frame was up I took the precaution of securing the frame with elasticated pats cord before putting the cover over the frame. Overall it’s good value for the money and with care it should last a few Seasons...

100% Fit for purpose.
Very ingenious and sturdy product at a very good price. The Alarm system works fine and is loud enough to be effective!
