No other controllers are compatible and the controls themselves are awful.
First off the game itself seems cute! I love the whole idea and the aspect of the characters alone. What I found unsetteling, however, is the controls. They seem off, to say the least. Whenever I would try to turn right, at a particular corner, it seemed as if the command did not go through. Sometimes it would turn left and other times it would not turn at all, leaving me falling off of the cliff. My second biggest complaint, or, rather, my first, is that that NO OTHER controllers are compatible with this game. Not the wheel or the classic controller. The game might actually be tolerable if you could use another device. But it's too hard using the Wii remote, no matter how well you can do with one, and, truth be told, the game would randomally glitch during play and your character would all of the sudden be in another place entirely

There are two versions of tgis game.
3 of 4 found this helpful When I first purchased this I was unaware that there were two versions. The wii version/3ds version is called Superchargers Racing. In this version of the game it is race tracks only.
There are about five maps in this game, and each has about 10 levels(not including three other maps unlocked by trophys).
As you play you can unlock new vehicle modes, do racing challenges, and level up your Skylanders and vehicles based on the experience you gain in the levels. If you don't have a land or sea vehicle when you first buy it then don't be worried. The game will provide you with a low-grade one. The only vehicle type that the game won't provide for you is an air vehicle. You have to have your own air vehicle to do any of the air challenges.
On the other version of superchargers, however, there are bosses, and the racing parts are more like side quests.
This version of the game, that does NOT say racing in the title, is more like the other Skylanders game. You can travel on foot, and Skylands is the main hub.
Note: The racing isn't as easy in this version.

Need wifi to first play as Alice
The product itself is exquisite. Alice has the flamingo weapon for melee, and shoots a hedgehog for range. She has the ability to hover with her dress for short distances, call tweedle-see to batlle, and as a special move she grow to be large or small.
Here's the thing though, the character requires an update to play as her. So no Wi-Fi equals no character acess.
