Not bad for the price.
Not bad for the price. The 38/39mm thing means that I have to shim them to use on a 38mm fork, but that only makes sense. Not bad for the price. Certainly a well made price point item.
The headlight I have isn't huge, and I'm not using a large instrument cluster. So the outer mounting hole leaves a bit of daylight behind my headlight bucket. I trimmed away the lower arm and basically made the headlight mount to the turn-signal mount.
Looks nice.
These have little tolerance for a headlight bucket that isn't exactly the correct width. With my headlight bucket, the ears wouldn't sit flat against the sides of the bucket. I ended up bending the triangular part of the ears to change the offset, and then all was well.

The real deal
As advertised, packed well, shipped quickly. Part is NLA, so finding it was a real prize.

Nice!
Simple, cheap, and it works. Less bulky than the case, and perfect if you don't wear a belt. If the Leatherman is broken in and easy to open, I'd worry about using the ring, as the pliers might open while you are carrying the tool.
