Mattress cover review

My Solution to an installation 'issue' that I encountered.
I first tested the bolts on all the welded-on nuts on the grab bar brackets on my work bench before I attempted installation. I'm glad I did as I had to use some WD-40 to get them started as they were full of paint and residue from the welding process.
ISSUE: The brackets on the bar fit in my rear seat step/platform perfectly, except...........
I would've had to remove the seat step/platform from the cart to install the front bolts as designed as there was no room to insert the front bolts through the existing holes in the front of the platform. So, I found some shorter bolts of the same metric diameter and simply threaded them first through attached nuts, rear-to-front, on the grab bar bracket. I used both flat and lock washers and the bolts protruded all the way through the box tubing, but didn't damage the cart from going too far through. I attached the 2 included rear bolt as designed by first inserting them through the existing holes in the platform into the welded-on nuts on the grab bar. (I also added my own lock washers to these bolts along with the furnished flat washers.) It would've been a real paint if I had not pre-tested the nuts.
Bottom line, the front, shorter bolts I furnished are acting as pins. I reasoned that I can see no way that assembly can fail as long as the rear bolts are in place.
NOTE:
I started the rear bolts first, but only ran them in a few turns until I got the front bolts (pins) in. I still had to tweak the assembly with a Phillips screwdriver to line up all the holes and it (I used a floor jack to keep the bracket from falling down until I got all 4 bolts started.)
