Otter brand is top quality protection
The Otter brand is built like a tank. I've used it for years and have dropped my phone dozens of times with no
ill effect on the phone or the rubber and plastic framing.
Please note: I once bought the cheap chinese Otter imitation and it was pure junk. Their rubber surround literally falls apart in a few weeks time and if you need to take the plastic frame off in order to change the battery, most of the plastic parts that lock/unlock the frame together break off.
