The last Palm - but not the one I prefer
I am an accumulator (not really a collector) of Palm devices; I currently own five different models, and the TX is the latest addition.
It is larger and heavier than earlier models. It's great advantage is wifi capabilities, but I won't be using it for wifi, and I suspect most users won't. In addition, it gives you a lot more storage than earlier models. Again, I find this unimportant.
If I had to recommend a Palm model to the first-time user, it would be the E2. It has non-volitile storage (like the TX), and is lighter and thus easier to carry around.

Leica M Oddball
This camera is the last of four Leica M mount cameras with no rangefinder, and one of three (MD, MDa, and MD-2) with no viewfinder! It was intended for use with microscopes, like the Leica line of microscopes. In this area, you don't need a viewfinder or rangefinder; the focal distance is fixed - set it once and forget it.
So why would you want this camera if you don't own a microscope? Well, unless you are a Leica collector, you might want a camera with great build quality for use with wide angle lenses (35mm and wider) which have good depth of field, and focusing may be done by "scale focusing"; i.,e, by guesstimate.
That's how I am using this camera, with an auxulliary view finder to see what the lens sees, and no fussing with a viewfinder. It is very easy to learn to use the camera this way, and with a little practice, can give you very sharp pix with little effort.
Oh, did I mention build quality? Consider that this camera came from a Leica factory (in the case of my camera, in Canada), and in addition probably spent most of its life in a lab attached to a microscope - NOT on a shelf gathering dust and freezing its shutter, or out somewhere getting banged around by shooters like you and me. It probably will look great, and not need a CLA.
On the other hand, if you want a user camera, be careful not to pay collector prices for a camera with rarity value.

Watch out! Monochrone screen
I have become a Palm fan. However, this product (equivalent to
the Pilot m500) has one big drawback: it is monochrome, meaning
black characters on a beige background. If light conditions are not
near ideal, it is hard to read.
For those wanting to try a Palm, I suggest the m515 (the only "m"
model with full color screen) or one of the "Tungsten" models. I
am a fan of both the m515 and the T5.
