Attractive but doesn't whistle.
I purchased this kettle for my elderly mother who is hard of hearing, so she needed a whistling kettle. This kettle does not whistle at all. It looks attractive on the gas stove top, but is of little use to my mother. Therefore, this kettle does not whistle as advertised. I provided this feedback to the seller, but I never heard anything back. My mother only decided to keep the kettle because it looks nice.
