Better than the original - but it’s no Catan
Better than the original monopoly. Speed die is fun at the start and brutal towards the end. Means quicker more dynamic games. New spaces and rules around building, building on stations, utilities are all improvements. Bus tickets are good too. Definitely worth the buy. My 8 year old’s arithmetic has improved a lot since we started playing monopoly.
It doesn’t get 5 since it still has some flaws like the rent jumps massively for skyscrapers - makes it a game ender. Also me monopoly on a full board is a little too brutal.
