High schools are always filled with various cliques. The country, culture, or school does not deter this phenomenon. But as usual, the clique with the prettiest girls gets the most attention, which is always welcomed, unless of course they have a big secret that they would rather sweep beneath a rug. "Pretty Little Liars" Emily, Spencer, Aria, and Hanna are four popular girls who have just lost their group Queen. It is always funny how the head of these popular girl groups are always the most, loved, hated, or feared, or maybe a combination of the three. Either way, Alison DiLaurentis was reported missing, and shortly afterwards the remaining four started to receive ominous messages threatening to reveal their various dark secrets. Secrets that should only be known by them and Alison. The girls immediately concluded that Alison was behind the little deadly charade, and the fact that the tormentor signed their name as "A,” further convinced them that their former friend is up to her usual blackmailing and manipulative tricks. However, the girls had to go back to the drawing board when Alison's body was found and they attended her funeral. All manner of speculations surfaced, but the girls are also busy trying to keep their personal lives together so investigating "A" and trying to hold on to current secrets may take its toll on the group. For teenage girls, an incoming text message would mean that their social life is active, but for these "Pretty Little Liars,” it may represent another threat.
