How to distinguish the true and false Watermark?

For shower head ,please check the back cover, there must be a WATERMARK LOGO  stamped at the back of shower head.
For basin mixer , kitchen mixer and shower mixer or taps, there must be a WATERMARK LOGO stamped on the mixer or taps body,the cartridge and the connecter of the water hoses. 
If you found a listing stating the item is WATERMARK Certified, please verify it before you make an order.Don't buy any tapware/shower without WaterMark, Plumber won’t install for you
In order to achieve WaterMark Certification, the subject material or product must:
Be tested by a recognised testing laboratory;
Comply with an approved specification (either a relevant existing standard or an approved WaterMark Technical Specification);
Be manufactured in accordance with an approved Quality Assurance Program; and
Carry a warranty.WaterMark certification is your guarantee that you are purchasing a high quality product, suitable for Australian conditions, which can be legally installed in your home.
Material and product failures in plumbing systems can cause contamination of the water system and be a public health concern. The WaterMark Certification Scheme is a mandatory certification scheme for plumbing and drainage products to ensure that plumbing and drainage materials and products are fit for purpose and appropriately authorised for use in plumbing installations. Council would not grant you with OC (Occupation Certificate ) if you installed a non-WELS approved shower /  tap; And the material of cheap taps without Watermark may include Excessive lead, it might affect health if drinking directly from these taps , plumber would not install any non Watermark Certificated products.
