How to register for PayPal?

Since PayPal is perhaps the most preferred method of making and receiving payments on eBay, you will need to register at PayPal once you have set up your eBay account. In order to do so, you need to make use of the ‘Sign up for PayPal’ link. This link will be available on the welcome page of eBay. Please do not wait to come back and sign up for this service, but do so as soon as you complete your eBay registration as PayPal is perhaps your most important tool for making good sales on eBay.

Once you click the link on the welcome page, you will be redirected to the PayPal website where you can sign up for this service. You will be asked to complete a form, with regular data such as your email address, name, contact numbers, address, and a password for your PayPal account. On providing these details and confirming them, your PayPal registration will be complete and you should land on their welcome page.

Please note that PayPal does not prompt you to link a bank account or a credit/debit card to your PayPal account. However, since doing so is vital to your eBay experience, you should link your bank account and credit card with PayPal immediately. You can link just one of each or multiple accounts too.

In a few days after you have linked your bank account, a small charge will appear in your account from PayPal. You have to note the details of this charge and login to your account to confirm these. This ensures that the bank account is indeed yours and your PayPal sign up is now complete.
