A new feedback system from 6th March 2007
eBay's overview is here:

The info below was written prior to new system above.

It is always wise to read a member's FEEDBACK before trading with them. The feedback may indicate what quality of trader the member is. When I was a "newbie" on eBay, I was shown a quick way to check all Negative feedback, or any other feedback in categories.

1. Go to a member's feedback page.
2. Find the drop down box for "Period".
(It is on the right hand side near the top under Contact Member).
3. Select "Past 12 months" in the drop down box, then push GO.

Once you have done that, you will now see four categories.
Example: Show: All | Positive (723) | Neutral (0) | Negative (0) | Withdrawn (0)

You can now click on one of the categories to see all of the related feedback. Eg click on Withdrawn to see feedback which was mutually withdrawn, or click on Negative to see all the negative comments in the past 12 months. This can be much faster and informative than scrolling through pages of feedback.

Wishing you a safe and happy eBay experience
