Proxy Bidding

When making a bid on an item you can submit more than the current price that the Auction is at.

This means that when somebody bids against the item and it is less than your bid, you will still be the higher bidder,

until the amount surpasses your bid. You should proxy bid an amount you want to pay for the item and Ebay will hold

that amount until somebody passes it. Note that you only pay the amount that the bid is up to, so for example if the item costs

$10 and you bid $20 and nobody bids except you then you still only pay $10 as that is the last highest bid. GET IT.
