This mini compact computer is worth the money. Is barebone PC, so will required a memory ram and a 2.5 hard drive. You don't have to spend to much money to add the other stuff as mention in the previous review. I just expend additional $50 to set it up. You can bought a cheap hard drive on ebay and DDR3L memory as well. I build mine with a Seagate 500GB HDD and 4GB DDR3L memory and is running window 7 Pro 64bit without any issue. The pc is pretty fast for the type of CPU that is using (Intel Celeron 1.8 Quad-Core). Handle window 7 pro that is pretty heavy with all the updates without any hassle or issue. The PC is fanless, but does not overheat at all. Is super silent and you can only hear it when booting up, after that you will forgot that is on. This device supports Window 7, 8, 8.1 and for win 10 (Need BIOS Update). Also support Linux OS without any issue. The PC have turbo core technology so you can increase anytime the Ghz of your CPU as stated in the description. For the price is excellent to build your first computer. Note: If you have issue booting the OS on a USB Pen Drive, go to your BIOS and in Boot tab, change the BIOS to legacy. Then save and restart, press F8 and click the USB on the screen so it can be boot). The Drivers are included on a CD/DVD, if you don't have external optical drive, you may go to the official page to download the lattes drivers using a USB. I give 8.5/10 for this thing. I will bought another to run KODI on it.Read full review

The unit was only $150. Adding the RAM was another $50. Adding the hard drive was another $70. Adding the DVD drive to install the operating system software and the driver software was another $45. Adding the Windows 7 operating system was another $75. That makes $240 worth of extra purchases just to make this computer work. $240 plus $150 = $390 and this doesn't even include a keyboard, mouse and monitor which I fortunately happened to already have. Today, you can get a brand new ACER laptop with the same processor and hardware, ready to go out of the box for less than $250, including shipping on eBay.

I use this for a living room multimedia pc, and for that it's perfect. It's footprint is no larger than a cd case. It's very quiet. I tried playing fall out 3 on lowest settings and it worked, but that's not what it's meant for, but it'll do it. Kind of. Paired with a solid state it boots before I can even sit down on the couch. This computer is very capable of being a basic use desktop pc as well. Very pleased, not only would I recommend to a friend, I have.

I have this set up with Linux Mint and Plex attached to my TV to use as a home theater. I'm happy with it so far.

As a media streaming device this falls short. Failed to accurately play flash video and dxva video from a media server. Lots of frame drops and graphical issues. I returned it.
