The camera is okay for the price I paid (A$15) but the recording quality is not very good (720P) and the file sizes are large (400-500MB per 5 mins). The poor recording quality means it can be difficult to make out details like license plates. Good points are that it has a top mount USB connection so the wires aren't hanging down if you run then across the top of your windscreen, and also there is no noticeable gap between file recordings. So it's fine for some uses like if you just want to share driving videos on Youtube, but maybe not the right choice is you want something that can be used for evidence after an accident.
