I just received this Caraya round back guitar this morning and have been checking it out and playing it for the past couple hours. I have to say, honestly............you will not find a better bargain for a guitar of this type. Mine came via a dealer in Australia...........took about three weeks for delivery but it was well worth the wait. Completely blemish free............it's down right beautiful. The only surprise was that in the photo's it appears..........at least on my computer screen.......that the back & deco around the sound hole are blue.........but it's black.......no problem. Also, it's a rather compact design........but that makes it all the better for a young beginner. The sound is somewhat light.......but crisp. The tuners on mine are fine. The action is a little high......but even. The frets are smooth and the neck is straight. It is a very pretty little guitar and has a nice sound. I would highly recommend this guitar...........it is comparable to a $500 Yamaha. It is truly a bargain.......came with a nice (but unpadded) gig bag, a capo, an electronic clamp on tuner and a spare set of strings! Seriously, folks.............this is a VERY NICE guitar for the price!Read full review

This guitar is essentially a copy of an Ovation Guitar so it is basically an electro acoustic practice/stage guitar which will not feed back as much as an all timber guitar as it has a fibreglass back. Given that it has a nice bright and quite loud acoustic sound but it lacks the warmth of an all timber guitar. It has played and sounded a lot better since I put on a set of Elixir Acoustic Polyweb Bronze Strings on it. It's nicely put together and very playable as it comes but on the downside the neck has fairly thin frets and a bit a kink but nothing a decent setup couldn't fix. It's a nice small size great for playing on the couch or for jam sessions at friends places or taking camping! The pickup sounds fine as does the eq but it doesn't have an onboard tuner. Quite amazing for the price great little knock about guitar.Read full review

For those of us that love Ovation guitars, this 3/4 size look-alike is quite a marvel. Many of my students are starting off on this guitar and loving it.

A great thin bodied , comfortable to hold Semi Acoustic Guitar. Note that Like any New Guitar it needs proper setting up first . Mine needed considerable Neck adjustment .
